Well we did it!!!! After a lot of hard work the team pulled though and we got 2nd place with the 1st place Robot Performance Award and got a high score of 118. hope y’all did awesome too!

It’s only a week and a half until our tournament!!!
We have learned so much about jellyfish this year. Did you know that the sting of some types of box jellyfish is DEADLY!?! We learned how to sign “jellyfish.” And did you know that scientists actually feed jellyfish peanut butter slushies? Peanut butter and jellyfish 😉
Our robot is actually reasonably consistent – our programming efforts have paid off. We can’t wait to see it in action at the tournament.

Welcome! This year’s theme is Animal Allies. We have a new team member! The challenge has not come out yet so we are brainstorming and building stuff for the robot. Comment down below what your team thinks the project will be about.
Updates
Hey everyone, sorry for not being very active on here but we’ve all been very busy. Programming, skit writing, poster making…..blogging kind of gets shoved to the side. Anyway, we have also updated our “Trash Trek” page with pictures from our project so check those out as well! We’re really excited for our tournament tomorrow! We are all at our coach’s house practicing skits and robot runs and eating lots of snacks :). Don’t forget, if your team brings us old crayons at the tournament tomorrow (We are at pit #3), we will weigh them and the team who brings in the most will get an awesome prize!

Production Line Learning
A little while ago we had some friends of ours come and make pillowcases to donate using Production Line Learning. It was a lot of fun and we learned a lot too!
Regional Tournament
We had a lot of fun at the Miami Valley School Regional Tournament! We really liked the alliance rounds which we had never experienced before. And we won the Champion’s Award! It really surprised us, and we were very excited to receive it. We can’t wait to go to the Wayne Warriors District Competition and hope to see you there!
Pillowcase Donations
Today we got to help donate pillowcases to Dayton Childrens’ Hospital. We donated 40 handmade pillowcases, some of which we helped make! The hospital staff was grateful to receive them.
